SUBJECT: Possible water pressure fluctuation along 5th Ave 9:00 AM 1/9/14

At approximately 9:00 AM today, Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority will be performing a test shut on both Highland Park water lines that run down 5th Avenue  between Neville and Dithridge Streets.  According to PWSA calculations, Oakland should not see any pressure related issues.

This will have no effect on Mellon Institute which receives its water from a different reservoir but other buildings in the Craig St corridor may be affected.  The most likely impact could short periods of low or changing water pressure and possible discoloration.  If you experience anything beyond this, please contact FMS Service Response at 412-268-2529 so that we can advise PWSA.

If you have any questions, contact Kyle Tomer, 8-6332 or e-mail kt2n@andrew.cmu.edu.
