UPDATE:
Ruthrauff Sauer Mechanical Contractor is proceeding with the repairs at 4615 Forbes AVE, (GATF building). New exterior gas piping is being run to the three gas-fired roof top units.
The gas company is scheduled to test the installation on Tuesday, February 4. Allowing for building warm up after the test, the building may return to its normal occupancy approximately by mid-day.
The next notice will be sent out after the testing.

SUBJECT: Gas leak at 4615 Forbes Ave
A natural gas leak was discovered today at 4615 Forbes earlier today. Peoples Natural Gas responded and found the gas levels to be sufficiently high that they shut off all gas to the building. Peoples Gas crews are excavating to discover the source of the leak. As a result of this leak, the building has neither heat nor domestic hot water.
Further information will be sent out as more is learned about the repairs required and the expected duration of the outage.
