SUBJECT: Steam Outage Gates Hillman Center – 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM 3/11/14
Steam service to the Gates Hillman Center will be shut off from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM today to repair a serious steam leak in the Gates third floor mechanical room. This will result in some loss of air temperature control throughout the building although temperatures should remain within reasonable limits. Domestic hot water will be unavailable to all areas in the building except for the Tazza d’oro Café which has backup electric hot water heaters.
