SUBJECT: Wean Hall Shutdown – Transfer of Power 9/21-9/22
FMS Electricians will be transferring power at Wean Hall on Monday, 9/21, at 11:00PM through Tuesday, 9/22, at 7:00AM. This shutdown is required to tie in the transformers for the new Scott Hall clean room. Below is a schedule of when the transfers will take place:
– At 11:30PM (Monday 9/21) we will be transferring power from one circuit to another circuit. The power will be interrupted for about 30 minutes or less.
– At 2:30AM (Tuesday 9/22) we will be transferring power from one circuit to the original circuit. Once again, power will be interrupted for about 30 minutes or less.
– At 5:30AM (Tuesday 9/22) we will be balancing the loads between the 2 circuits. During this, power will be interrupted for about 30 minutes or less.
As we get closer, we should have a better idea of which areas will be affected for each transfer.
