SUBJECT: Fire Alarm Testing in Scott Hall 9/19 – 9/22  

CDFD will be pre-testing the Fire Alarm System and Fire Protection System (sprinklers) for Scott Hall on Monday, 9/19. 

From 9/20 – 9/22,  from 6AM until Noon, the City of Pittsburgh will be testing the Fire Alarm System and Fire Protection System for Scott Hall.   

During these times the audible alarms in all of Scott Hall, Café and Cleanroom areas will be on from 6AM until 8AM to confirm all devices are functioning properly.  After 8AM the alarms will be silenced in the North Wing Building and Café,  but the strobes will remain active for further testing the North Wing and Café until noon each day.   Audible alarms will continue to be tested in the unoccupied cleanroom area.   

Building evacuation will not be required during this testing.  Occupants are cautioned to respond to sounding fire alarms at all other times by immediately evacuating the building.
