SUBJECT: Fire Alarm Testing 12/20

The Pittsburgh City Inspector will be performing a test on the Scott Hall fire alarm system on Tuesday, 12/20, between 8:00AM – 12:00PM.  During this time, the fire alarm responses for several new systems in Scott Hall, Hamerschlag Hall and Porter-Baker Hall will be reviewed. 

In addition to each of these tests, the messages between Scott Hall to Wean Hall and Scott Hall to Hamerschlag Hall will be tested.  These tests will require the voice messages, horns and strobes to be activated for a short interval at different times during the morning in all (4) buildings.

Building evacuation will not be required during this testing.  Occupants are cautioned to respond to sounding fire alarms at all other times by immediately evacuating the building.
