REMINDER – The repairs to the main circuit branch at 300 S. Craig will be completed tomorrow, 10/6, between 1:00AM – 6:00AM.  During this time, the elevator, along with some HVAC, lighting and power outlets on each floor will be affected.

UPDATE:   During the last repair attempt, one of the replacement parts was not manufactured correctly and needed to be reworked.  Only half of the repair was completed and the remainder will be finished on October 6, 2017 between 1am-6am.

UPDATE: FMCS, along with a contractor, will be completing the permanent repair of the main circuit branch at 300 South Craig on Saturday, 7/29, from 6:00AM – 4:30PM.  During this time, the elevator, along with some HVAC, lighting and power outlets on each floor will be affected.

Subject: UPDATE – Partial Power Outage at 300 South Craig

UPDATE:

The partial power outage at 300 South Craig continues while FMCS and their contractors work on temporary repairs.  The cause of the power outage is a failure of a main branch circuit.  Any electrical equipment served from the failed branch circuit is without power – all other branch circuits continue to work as normal.  Since the building experienced a partial power outage, the emergency generator is not running.

The building elevator remains off.  Other building system affected by the power outage include some HVAC, lighting and power outlets on each floor.  Please check your critical equipment – including refrigerators in kitchenettes and anything running on a UPS or battery back-up power.  

FMCS has electrical extension cords and power strips if you need to temporarily plug equipment into a working outlet.  Please be careful not to overload a circuit and trip a local circuit breaker.
