SUBJECT: Construction Update – Hamerschlag Drive Closure – 7/29

On Saturday, 7/29, beginning at 4:00AM, Hamerschlag Drive will be closed to through traffic at the Frew Street entrance to allow for the installation of a new emergency generator between Scaife Hall and Roberts Hall.  Access to Gates/Hillman and CIC garages must be accessed via South Neville Street.  There will also be signage at South Neville Street notifying users that Hamerschlag Drive is closed at Wean Hall.  Hamerschlag Drive will be closed at the hairpin turn at Wean to prevent trucks from being unable to turn around at that actual construction site at Roberts Hall.

The parking spaces at Porter Hall (including the ADA spaces) will not be available during this closure period due to the crane location.

It is anticipated that Hamerschlag Drive will be reopened by 3:00PM at the latest.
