SUBJECT: Hamerschlag Hall Steam, Chilled Water and Power Shutdowns

There will be chilled water, steam and power shutdowns this week in Hamerschlag Hall starting today, 7/27, through Sunday, 7/30.  This work is being coordinated to happen at the same time to avoid multiple shutdowns affecting your spaces.  Details of each shutdown are listed below:

STEAM SHUTDOWN

Reason: To repair the aging steam systems in the basement of Hamerschlag Hall

Start Time: Thursday, 7/27 at 1PM

End Time: Saturday, 7/29, at 4PM

Areas Affected: Hamerschlag Hall, Porter Hall, Baker Hall and the Scott Hall Courtyard

CHILLED WATER SHUTDOWN

Reason: To connect the Maker Space to the central chilled water system

Start Time: Friday 7/28 at 4AM

End Time: Sunday 7/30 at 5PM

Areas Affected: Air conditioning to the following areas of Hamerschlag Hall will be affected:

–          1^st Floor 1101, 1102, 1103, 1104, 1106, all 1107, 1108, 1108A, 1110, 1112, 1114, all 1116, 1118, 1149 A & B

–          B-Level all B302

–          C-Level all C107, C112, C113, C114, C115, C117, all C119, C123, C124, C125, C166

POWER SHUTDOWN

Reason: To relocate and connect the power for the Maker Space

Start Time: Saturday, 7/29, at 8AM

End Time: Saturday, 7/29, at 12:30PM

Areas Affected: Limited power outlets on the B, C and D Levels
