SUBJECT: CIC Lobby Stair Work 11/20 – 12/8

The main lobby stairs at the Collaborative Innovation Center will be closed for railing modifications and stair work from 11/20 through 12/8.

This work includes removal of the existing handrail that separates the auditorium seating, routing and installing a contrasting nosing strip in each auditorium seat, patching rail standard locations in the wood stairs and lower level wood flooring replacement at a small area near the stairs.  A new glass guardrail will also be installed at the top of the auditorium seating and the wood auditorium seating will be refinished.

The majority of the sanding and noise related work will be performed during the hours of 5:00AM through 9:00AM during this timeline, however other work will be ongoing during the day.

Please use the stairs adjacent the elevators during this closure to access the lower level.
