SUBJECT: Scott Hall Hazardous Gas Management System test 12/18

Environmental Health and Safety will be conducting a test of the Hazardous Gas Management System in Scott Hall on 12/18 at 8:00AM.  The expected duration of the test will be 30 minutes.

At the start of the test, an announcement will be made over the PA system that no evacuation is required.  The Metis system will then play a recorded announcement that you may disregard.  During this test, the fire shutters will drop. 

Building evacuation will not be required during this testing.  Occupants are cautioned to respond to sounding alarms at all other times by immediately evacuating the building.
