SUBJECT: CIC Exterior Water Event

The fire line to the Collaborative Innovation Center (CIC) broke last night causing an exterior water event that disrupted traffic on Forbes Avenue.  The line was isolated and debris was cleared from Forbes Avenue. 

There was damage to sidewalks, but no significant impact to the buildings beyond minor water in the CIC garage and Hamburg lower mechanical room.  Fire suppression in the CIC building is off (EH&S has been notified) but domestic water service to all buildings remains on.  Excavation for inspection and repair will begin this morning.

An update will be sent when more information is available.
