SUBJECT: Unplanned Power Interruptions on Campus

This morning at approximately 9:00AM, Duquesne Light experienced a momentary power interruption in Oakland that affected the entire CMU campus. 

The event caused issues in many buildings with elevators, air conditioning, and other electrically powered building systems.  Department equipment that is not on a UPS may have also experienced the momentary power interruption. 

FMS is currently reviewing each building and restoring normal operations.
