SUBJECT: Brief Power Interruptions at CIC for Duquesne Light Maintenance on 3/13 and 3/15

 

The CIC Building will experience a brief power loss on Wednesday (3/13)  at 7:30PM and on Friday (3/15) at 7:30PM for scheduled Duquesne Light maintenance work.  Duquesne Light will be performing maintenance on a redundant, high voltage electrical service to campus.  The only building that will experience any disruption to power is CIC Building.

SUBJECT: Duquesne Light Transformer Maintenance 3/13 – CIC Loss of Power

 

Duquesne Light will need to remove the Craft transformer from service for maintenance tomorrow, 3/13,  at 7:30PM.  The CIC Building will experience a short loss of power during this time.  The building will experience another short loss of power when the transformer is placed back in service on Friday, 3/15, at 7:30PM.  Any computer systems that are not on UPS should be powered down before this occurs.

 

The Craft transformer will be taken out of service for the main campus on 3/14 at 8:00AM and be restored back to campus on 3/15 at 8:00am.  The campus will not experience any disruption to power during these times.
