SUBJECT: Roberts Hall Power Shutdown Discussion Meeting TODAY at 2PM
A 6 hour power shutdown needs to be scheduled for Roberts Hall in order to resolve issues with the emergency power system in the building. All equipment connected to the emergency power will be affected during this shutdown, including:
– fume hood exhausts in labs
– hazardous chemical storage exhausts
– stairwell lighting
– anything connected to “red plugs”
Due to the urgency of this, there will be a meeting TODAY, 4/9, at 2:00PM in the FMCS 2nd Floor Conference Room to discuss details of this shutdown. The intent of the meeting is to solicit input on the potential impacts to critical equipment that would be affected and determine a date/time that avoids or minimizes the most negative effects.
