SUBJECT: Posner Hall Fire Alarm System Inspection 10/23 11:30AM – 12PM

The city of Pittsburgh has scheduled a fire alarm inspection of Posner Hall level 3 for tomorrow, 10/23, from 11:30 – noon.

Once the city inspector begins the inspection test, the audible fire alarms will sound briefly (less than 5 minutes) throughout the building.  The visual strobes will continue to flash as the inspector walks through the space and checks on the fire alarm system, which should last not more than 30 minutes.

You will not be required to evacuate during this inspection.  Occupants are cautioned to respond to sounding fire alarms and strobes at all other times by immediately evacuating the building.
