UPDATE The Posner Hall elevator is now back in service.
 
 
 
UPDATE – Extraction of the Posner Hall elevator pit hole is scheduled for tomorrow, 10/21, starting at 5:00AM.  There will be a lot of noise associated with this work.  The company doing the extraction will not know how long this will last until they get started.

UPDATE – The new jack for the Posner Hall elevator is scheduled to ship mid-October.  Installation of the jack will begin as soon as it arrives.  An update will be sent closer to that date.
 
 
 
UPDATE – The Posner Hall elevator is still out of service due to work being done on the jack.  A notice will be sent when this elevator is back in service.

SUBJECT: Posner Hall Elevator Currently out of Service 8/7-8/11
 
The Posner Hall elevator is currently unavailable and will be out of service until Tuesday, 8/11, due to maintenance on the elevator jack.
 
The Equal Opportunities Office and the Office of Disability Resources have been notified and will support individuals if they need alternate arrangements.  Faculty and staff concerns and questions should be directed to La Dawn Robinson (412-268-3930 or ladawnr@andrew.cmu.edu ).  Student related concerns and questions should be directed to Catherine Getchell (412-268-6121 or getchell@cmu.edu).
