SUBJECT: East/West Walkway Concrete Replacement 5/25 – 8/15

The final phase of the East/West Walkway replacement will begin on Tuesday, 5/25, and is expected to be completed by 8/15.  This work is weather dependent.

This section of work will be broken down into two phases (see below photo)

–          The first phase will begin at last year’s stopping point between the University Center and Tennis Courts.  This phase will end at the East side of West Wing at the plaza between West Wing and Resnik. 

–          The second phase of work will include the remaining section of walkway to the Compass area.

Work areas will be closed and temporary pedestrian walkways will be installed around the sections of work.  A traffic lane will remain open in areas not being worked on, primarily for construction vehicles.  The Food Truck will be temporarily relocated during the first phase of work to a previously finished area of walkway nearby.

The roofing replacement of West Wing and Resnik will also be going on during the same time period.  Please refrain from using the walkway during this work to avoid the construction areas and vehicles.
