UPDATE – A faulty piece of electrical equipment was found on the main electrical service for CIC. Once replacement parts have been found, CIC will experience a series of momentary power blips. A notice will be sent out prior to this work being performed.

SUBJECT: Main Campus and CIC Electricity Transfer 6/9
Duquesne Light will need to remove a feeder from campus and the Robert Mehrabian Collaborative Innovation Center (CIC) Building starting tomorrow, 6/9, due to continued work on their substation.
Campus and Mellon Institute will be removed at 6AM tomorrow, 6/9, and will be restored at 6AM on 6/11. The campus and Mellon Institute will not experience any disruption to power during these times.
CIC will be removed at 7PM tomorrow evening, 6/9, and will be restored at 7PM on 6/10. The CIC Building will experience a short loss of power when the feeder is taken out of service and also when it is placed back in service.
