SUBJECT: 311 South Craig Street Building Evacuation

Over the weekend, a power event resulted in the 311 South Craig St. building fire alarm panel to lose all power.  When the panel is not working correctly, the building's fire alarm activation and notification system is compromised. Out of an abundance of caution, EHS has asked all of the CMU employees who work in 311 South Craig to work remotely until further notice.  Once the power issues with the fire alarm panel are fixed, a follow-up FMS announcement will be distributed.
