SUBJECT: Forbes Avenue Sidewalk Closure – Between Devon and Beeler Street

The pedestrian sidewalk along Forbes Avenue, between Devon and Beeler Street, will be closed starting tomorrow, 8/19, and will remain closed thru the fall of 2023.  This closure is required to construct a new streetscape similar to the one in front of the Tepper Quad along Forbes Avenue for the Forbes Beeler Apartments.   

Signage will be posted at the Beeler and Morewood intersection notifying pedestrians of the sidewalk closure and will direct people to use the south walk and to cross at the Morewood and Beeler intersections.  At this time the bike lane is not affected.
