SUBJECT: – Hamerschlag/Roberts/Scott/Wean Natural Gas Outage 10/8 – WEAN HALL WILL BE CLOSED

Natural gas service to Hamerschlag, Roberts, Scott and Wean Halls will be turned off starting at 6AM this Saturday, 10/8, to allow the permanent connection of a gas main within the Scaife Hall construction area. The duration of this outage and building closure will be 8 hours and will affect central natural gas.  Equipment connected directly to bottles of compressed gas will not be affected.

This outage will also affect the Wean Hall emergency generator, so Wean Hall will be closed (no occupancy) for the duration of the outage due to emergency egress lighting being impaired.  All other buildings can remain occupied during the natural gas outage.
