SUBJECT: Morewood E Tower Underground Water Line Break – Traffic Will Be Re-Routed

Crews will be working on repairs to an underground water line break on the west side of Morewood E Tower beginning tomorrow, 1/24, at 9AM. This area is in the drive/concrete sidewalk location adjacent to Health Services. All efforts will be made to expedite the completion of this work however overall repairs may take a few days depending on the amount of excavation area required for leak discovery. There will be noise after 9AM related to this work.

Domestic water will not be affected.

The one-way traffic lane on the west side of Morewood Gardens will be closed for safety reasons during the excavation.  Traffic will be re-routed to the two-lane drives in the Morewood Parking lot.  The drive gate for this lot will remain open during this work that directs traffic into the rear of the parking lot.

The Cyert Child Care drop off and pickup location will be at the cross-walk area in the parking lot side in lieu of the drive that needs to be closed.

The attached map shows the work area and traffic re-routing.
