SUBJECT: Tree Removal and Replacement – Columnar English Oak in Mall

A Columnar English Oak tree in the Mall is scheduled to be removed on Monday, 4/22, due to deteriorating health and severe trunk decay.  A replacement Columnar English Oak tree is scheduled to be planted Thursday, 4/25.  

CMU works to keep our landscape thriving and safe. CMU is designated as a Tree Campus Higher Education school by the Arbor Day Foundation, recertified annually since 2014.  Oversight of tree maintenance, inspections, and overall health is an integral part of this program & success.
