SUBJECT: Campus Steam Shutdown – Discussion Meeting 5/8 11AM

The main campus will experience a 72-hour full steam shutdown the week of June 3rd.  This outage will not affect Housing buildings, Mellon Institute, or the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).  Dining Services will not be affected in the CUC, Tepper, or Resnik.  All other buildings connected to the main campus steam line will be affected.  Domestic hot water will not be available and space temperatures will be maintained within a wider range than normal.  

 

Attached are slides presented at the last Facility Coordinator Meeting regarding this shutdown.

 

A meeting has been set up to discuss details of the steam shutdown on Wednesday, 5/8, at 11AM.  Please send an email to Shannon Wetzel at swetzel@andrew.cmu.edu if you would like to be invited to this meeting.
