SUBJECT: Campus Steam Shutdown 6/14 6AM-8AM

 

There will be a 2-hour main campus steam outage at 6AM tomorrow, 6/14, due to an emergency repair at Bellefield Boiler Plant.  

This outage will not affect Housing buildings, Mellon Institute, or the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).  Dining Services will not be affected in the CUC, Tepper, or Resnik.  All other buildings connected to the main campus steam line will be affected with similar impacts as the 72-hour shutdown last week. 

Domestic hot water will not be available and space temperatures will be maintained within a wider range than normal.
