UPDATE – The Wean Hall Comprehensive Space Documentation & Evaluation project is a part of the university's Enterprise Space Strategies (ESS) initiative, which is co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the Division of Operations. The primary purpose of the Wean Hall component of the study is to populate the enterprise space information management tool. That data will be available to help each college and department to make better space management decisions. Please refer to the previous email below for further details.
The survey teams for Wean Hall Comprehensive Space Documentation/Evaluation walked through the building earlier this year. Although the survey teams were able to cover the majority of the Wean Hall, we have a handful of spaces that we were not able to access initially.
On Monday and Tuesday next week (7/1 & 7/2), the survey team will be back in the building to walk through the inaccessible spaces – please see attached markup (highlighted in green & blue).
The team will start from the first floor and make their way up. They will generally be working between 8:30am-5pm. The team will be accompanied by a CMU staff member at all times.

The Visual Surveying Team for Wean Hall Comprehensive Space Documentation/Evaluation started walkthroughs of the building before the break and will continue this week through Friday, January 26. Please see the schedule update below:
- Thurs 1/18 between 10:30am-2:30pm (1st & 2nd floor partial)
- Fri 1/19 between 1pm-5pm (2nd floor remaining & 3rd floor partial)
- Mon 1/22 between 8:30am-noon (3rd floor remaining & 4th floor partial)
- Tuesday 1/23 between 1pm-5pm (4th floor remaining & 5th floor partial)
- Wed 1/24 between 8:30am-11:30am (5th floor remaining & 6th floor partial)
- Friday 1/26 between 8:30am-noon (6th floor remaining & 7th floor partial)
We would like to kindly remind facility coordinators to inform the Wean Hall occupants to avoid any confusion.
