SUBJECT: Strobic Fan Replacement at Mellon Institute, September 24

Facilities Management Services (FMS) will be replacing the strobic fan on the roof of Mellon Institute on Tuesday, September 24, 6:00 am-6:00 pm. This project will affect the following:

• 7th and 8th Floors: Fume hoods and lab exhaust systems, including those served by the Noonan exhaust fan, will be non-operational.
• 8th and 9th Floors: These floors must remain unoccupied for safety reasons, and access will be restricted.

Street and Sidewalk Closures:

• S. Dithridge Street: Closed from the north side of Winthrop Street to Fifth Avenue.
• Sidewalks: Closed along the same stretch.
• Dithridge Street Garage: Entrances and exits on S. Dithridge Street will be closed. Use the Henry Street exit via S. Craig Street for both entry and exit. Please exercise caution when entering or exiting.
• Winthrop Street: Will remain open for through traffic.
