UPDATE–The PWSA was unable to fix the issue on Winthrop yesterday. They began the repair by turning off the water, but had to stop when Peoples reported a potential gas leak in the area. PWSA may attempt the repair again today, and if they do, another robocall will be sent out. Water service to the same properties will be affected.

PWSA has been notified of the current water line leak on Winthrop Street, across from the INI Building. 

The following buildings will most likely be affected when PWSA shuts the water off to repair the line:

• 4625 Winthrop – domestic
• 4631 1/2 Winthrop – domestic
• 4638 Winthrop – domestic

The duration of the shutdowns is unknown at this time.  Updates will be sent when additional information is received.
