SUBJECT: Planned CIC Power Shutdowns for Switchgear Work
A preliminary planning meeting was held on Tuesday, 2/18, to discuss power outages needed to upgrade the switchgear in CIC (Robert Mehrabian Collaborative Innovation Center). These upgrades will enable automatic power transfers during planned work.This project will require three consecutive days of power outages:
5/16 from 10AM-6PM
5/17 from 6AM-6PM
5/18 from 6AM-6PMPower will be restored at the end of each work period.
Emergency generators will be running if you have equipment on emergency power.
CIC AND CIC GARAGE WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE OUTAGES.

Feb 26, 2025The planned power outages for the CIC switchgear upgrades are only one month away (details below). There will be an update meeting on Thursday, 4/17, at 12:30PM to receive feedback from affected departments and discuss the details of this shutdown.
