SUBJECT: Tree Removals and Replacements at Margaret Morrison Hall Slope

On Wednesday, 3/5, two severely declining ginkgo trees will be removed.  These trees currently pose a risk to our campus community.  Three new paperbark maple trees will be planted as replacements this spring.

CMU works to keep our landscape thriving and safe. CMU is designated as a Tree Campus Higher Education school by the Arbor Day Foundation, recertified annually since 2014. Oversight on tree maintenance, inspections, and overall health is an integral part of this program's success.
