SUBJECT: Freezing Temps – Help Protect Your Spaces – CLOSE ALL WINDOWS
As folks head into the Thanksgiving Break, please keep in mind that we will experience temperatures well below freezing later this week and into the weekend. This will be the first extended period of temperatures below freezing, and it is occurring during a time of low occupancy on campus. High's for the day will hover around 33 degrees with low's near 20 degrees.
Please help FMS protect your spaces by closing and locking ALL windows, preparing your office and academic spaces for break, and shutting down any equipment if feasible.
We ask that particular attention be made to open windows in buildings such as CFA, TCS, Gates, Mellon Institute, MMCH, Doherty, HOA and Baker/Porter.
FMS crews will be on site during and throughout the holiday break. If you see or notice anything of concern, please contact the FMCS Service Response Center at 412-268-2910. Thanks for your partnership as we head into the winter months.
