Various weather reports are indicating that we can expect up to 1 inch of snow overnight tonight. FMS crews will be on site in the early morning hours Saturday to ensure sidewalks, steps and walkways are clear and free of ice.
Temperature will dip to 17 degrees again on Saturday and Sunday night. With the temperatures fluctuating between the 30's, teens and single digits, this places us in a higher risk category for open windows, leading to freezing pipes. Monday night's low of 5 degrees is expected to dip below zero and into the negative with windchill factors, leading to a potential cold weather advisory or extreme cold watch.
Please help FMS protect your spaces by closing and locking ALL windows. We ask that particular attention be made to open windows in buildings such as Resnick, West Wing, CFA, TCS, Mellon Institute, MMCH, Doherty, Hamerschlag, HOA and Baker/Porter.
