SUBJECT: Smith Hall First Floor Corridor Work 5/27 – 7/31
Ceiling, lighting and sprinkler work will be taking place in the first-floor main corridor of Smith Hall starting today, 5/27, through 7/31. This work will take place intermittently from 6AM-2PM Monday – Friday each week.
This work is a part of the summer renovation of the Smith Hall 125 lab and includes:
– The removal of existing ceiling tiles, grid, and lighting
– The installation of new fire protection systems
– The installation of new lighting and ceiling grid/tiles
Any particular loud work will be scheduled before 8AM when possible. Work areas will be cleaned daily before the crew leaves.
The corridor will remain open and accessible during construction.
