During the annual pre-college fireworks event on July 4th, access to the buildings surrounding the “mall” area of campus will be restricted from 7:30PM – 10:30PM. This includes:Baker HallPorter HallAnsys HallHamerschlag HallScott HallWean HallDoherty HallAny occupants in these buildings during that time period will be asked by university police to leave. This is to ensure everyone's safety during the fireworks show as the fireworks launch site will impede the use of many of the emergency exits for each of these buildings.For questions or concerns, please contact Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) at 412-268-8182 or safety@andrew.cmu.edu.
