SUBJECT: Cicada Killer Activity-Scaife Patio

FMS is aware of flying insects in the pathway from Tech Drive leading to the Scaife Hall patio. A swarm of cicada killers is currently present near the large rock adjacent to the sidewalk.

Although these insects are large and resemble wasps or hornets, they are generally not aggressive and do not pose a significant threat to people. The area has been treated, and FMS will continue to monitor the situation.
