To support repairs to the GATF building's air conditioning system, a 50-ton crane will be on-site Tuesday, July 14, to lift a replacement AC compressor to the roof.
For safety and operational reasons, the following temporary restrictions will be in effect:
4th Floor Closure
– The 4th floor of the GATF building will be closed and vacated from 7AM to 1PM during the crane operation.
– Signage will be posted throughout the building.
Parking Restrictions
– Several parking spaces in the GATF parking lot and behind the building will be unavailable beginning the evening of Monday, July 13, to accommodate crane setup and operation.
Work Schedule on 7/14
– Crane setup preparations will begin at 6AM.
– The crane is scheduled to arrive at 7AM.
– Work is expected to be completed by approximately 1PM.
– FMS personnel will be on-site beginning at 6AM to support the operation.
– Pedestrian routes within the crane's operating area will be clearly marked and monitored to ensure safety.
