SUBJECT: Hamburg Hall Fan Coil Unit Replacement Project Starting 10/8

Beginning October 8, FMS will begin replacing fan coil units in several areas of Hamburg Hall, starting in Room A117.

The project includes the replacement of 10 fan coil units and associated thermostats, valves, and piping connections. Work will take place in the following rooms:

A008, A117, A117B, A119, A002A, A002C, A002D, A002E, 1111, and 2103.

During the project, occupants may experience intermittent construction noise and increased personnel and equipment activity near the work areas. Access to impacted rooms will also be required.

A two-hour building wide heating shutdown will be scheduled as part of this work. The shutdown is expected to occur from 8AM to 10AM, with the date still to be determined. Minimal temperature impact is anticipated. Additional notification will be provided once the shutdown date is confirmed.
