SUBJECT: Morewood Gardens E Tower Power Outage on 11/28  from 8:30AM – 4:30PM  

There will be a planned power outage at Morewood Gardens E Tower on Saturday, 11/28, from 8:30AM until 4:30PM.  This outage is necessary in order to work on the electrical transformer vault for the building.

During this time, the emergency generator will provide power to life safety systems, a small number of power outlets, and emergency egress lighting.  The building will not have electricity supplied to most lights and there will be no Wi-Fi/data.  The elevator will also be out of service during this time.  Heat and water will not be affected.

This shutdown is occurring during the day, so daylight will help with lighting.  Temporary lighting will be supplied for all of the bathrooms affected.

The pedestrian walkway between E Tower and A Tower will be closed during this time. 

The E Tower entrance door will remain open, but will need to be accessed from the East side of the building.  No pedestrian access from the West drive side of the building will be permitted due to this work.
