SUBJECT: Hamerschlag Power Outage Tomorrow 12/2 5AM-7AM

As most of you are aware, the breaker at Hamerschlag Hall has been tripping quite frequently causing power outages and disruptions.  There is a good probability that the breaker is going to trip again today.  We are hoping this will not happen and will be able to continue with our scheduled power outage to change the breaker tomorrow morning, 12/2, from 5:00AM until 7:00AM. 

In order to help prevent the breaker from tripping today, we are asking for your help to shed any power loads by turning off lights and any non-essential electrical equipment.  

If the breaker does trip again today before 7:30PM, FMS will move forward with replacing the breaker at that time.  If this does occur, we will send communication notifying everyone.  If the breaker trips after 7:30PM tonight, we will continue with the scheduled power outage tomorrow morning starting at 5:00AM.

SUBJECT: Meeting to Discuss Hamerschlag Power Disruptions TODAY 12/1 at 10AM

FMS will be holding a meeting this morning, 12/1, at 10:00AM in the FMS 2nd Floor Conference Room to discuss the recent power outages that have been occurring at Hamerschlag Hall. 

During this meeting, we will be discussing the power outage that is tentatively scheduled for tomorrow 12/2, from 5AM until 7AM, and reviewing the communication plan for this shutdown.  This shutdown is necessary for FMS to replace the circuit breaker.
