SUBJECT: Water Line Break on Cut Affecting service to CUC & Purnell Center
A water main on the Cut broke earlier this evening. FMS crews are currently isolating this section of the campus water distribution system. Closing these valves will shut off water service to the Cohon University Center and Purnell Center. These buildings will have no water service starting at approximately 11:30 PM tonight. Contractor crews are being mobilized to make repairs to the broken water main. However, it is unlikely that these buildings will have water service for some period of time on Wednesday with the outage potentially extending further into the week.
Further updates will be sent out some time Wednesday morning as the extent of needed repairs becomes known.
