SUBJECT: CIT ANSYS Building and Undergraduate Maker Center Update
Beginning at 5:00PM on Friday, 8/11, through the end of the day Sunday, 8/13, CDFD will be conducting Geotechnical site verifications for the ANSYS Hall Simulation Building and Undergraduate Maker Center. It is anticipated that this work will be completed over the weekend to minimize disruption. The work consists of digging four pits at various locations onsite.
The work will be conducted on the future site of the ANSYS building in the parking lot off of Frew Street between Porter Hall, Hamerschlag Hall and Scaife Hall.
Pedestrians will be able to pass through marked/identified pathways. Parking will not be permitted during the work. Vehicular traffic will remain open, but will be flagged at times. The work will restrict the existing ADA parking spaces.
Construction signage will be posted in the area and on Hamerschlag Drive alerting both pedestrians and drivers of the work zones.
