SUBJECT: ANSYS Site Verifications 9/16 

On Saturday, 9/16, starting at 7:30AM, CDFD will be conducting Geotechnical site verifications for the ANSYS Simulation Building and Undergraduate Maker Center.  This work is anticipated to be completed over the weekend. 

The work will be conducted on the future site of the ANSYS building in the parking lot off of Frew Street between Porter Hall, Hamerschlag Hall and Scaife Hall.  The work consists of digging four pits at various locations onsite.

Pedestrians will be able to pass through the area during the site verifications, but parking will not be available. Vehicular traffic will remain open but will be flagged at times.

There will be construction signage posted in the area and on Hamerschlag Drive alerting both pedestrians and drivers of the work zones.  The work will restrict the existing ADA parking spaces.
