SUBJECT: Warner Hall HVAC Switching From Cooling to Heating Today 10/23

The unpredictable weather during seasonal transitions creates a challenge for the HVAC system in Warner Hall – when to switch the building from cooling to heating.  Unfortunately, due to the building design and age of the infrastructure, it is not possible to have both heating and cooling.  The date for switching from summer cooling to winter heating is determined based on weather.

FMCS has been monitoring the extended weather forecast which shows a cooling trend with nighttime lows dipping into the 30’s and 40’s this week and next.  Due to this, the switch from cooling to heating will occur today, 10/23.
