SUBJECT: UTDC Elevator Out of Service

The elevator at UTDC is currently out of service.  After receiving a call last night of a burning smell, it was discovered the oil for the elevator was overheating. 

We are currently working on the elevator and will send an update when it is back up and running. 

The Equal Opportunities Office and the Office of Disability Resources has been notified and will be supporting individuals needing alternate arrangements during this time.  Faculty and staff concerns and questions should be directed to La Dawn Robinson (412-268-3930 or ladawnr@andrew.cmu.edu ).  Student related concerns and questions should be directed to Catherine Getchell (412-268-6121 or getchell@cmu.edu).
