SUBJECT: Porter Hall Steam Shutdown 12/19 and 12/20        

The Porter Hall Classroom Renovation Work is currently underway. This project includes upgrades to Mechanical Systems which require bringing new utility runs, hot water and steam, into the spaces.  Mechanical Work for this scope is ongoing this week on the A Level, 1st Floor and 2nd Floor areas.

To facilitate this work, there will be a steam shut down on Tuesday, 12/19, from 8:00AM- 4:30PM and one on Wednesday, 12/20, from 8:00AM- 4:30PM.  This will affect the perimeter heating units in the Porter Hall A20 wing, 123 wing, and 223 wing.  Temporary heat will be provided on site for the spaces affected.

Upcoming weather is also being monitored closely.
