SUBJECT: Forbes Avenue Gas Line Installation Starting 1/10

People’s Gas will be replacing the main gas line on Forbes Avenue that runs from Devon Road to the bridge over Neville Street from 1/10 until 3/15.  From Devon Road to Morewood Avenue, the work will be on the inbound side of the road.  From Morewood Avenue to the bridge, the work will be on the outbound side of the road. 

A portion of the sidewalk in front of Hamburg Hall will be closed during this work.  Pedestrians can either cross to the North side of Forbes Avenue to get around this closure or go around the backside of Smith Hall.  The rest of the sidewalk along Forbes Avenue will remain open during this work.
