SUBJECT: Porter Hall Hot Water Riser Issues

A leak was discovered in the outside wall of Porter Hall 119D from one of the main hot water risers in the exterior building wall.  No water has currently entered the building due to this leak.

FMCS will be tracing this riser out over the next few days and will be in multiple spaces of the building to attempt to isolate the riser that will be re-routed.  Impacted rooms may be as follows: Porter Hall B23, B22, A119C, A119B, 119D, 119C, 219E, 219d, 319D, 319C. 

Once FMCS has determined all riser feeds, a follow-up notice will be issued on the next step for a new riser installation.
