SUBJECT: Widespread Water Event – Evening of 9/1/2019
Multiple areas on Campus were impacted by heavy storms last night. Thus far, the following areas have been identified as having water incursions:
Mudge C Tower- Bathrooms-Hallways Basement as well as both Mechanical Rooms
1085/1091 Morewood basement areas
Tepper 1st Floor by locker rooms, corridors and multiple rooms
Morewood Underground entire area
Hunt Library Basement Restrooms
NSH/FMS Lower Levels
SEI Basement under raised floor.
Gates 3200 near elevator
4700 Fifth stair tower
University Center LL Game room and tunnel
Tepper Building 1st floor
FMS personnel are checking other areas on campus that have a prior history of this type. Custodial Services and FMS contractors are responding in the areas listed above with priority being given to The Underground, Tepper Building, 1085/1091 and Mudge living quarters which appear to have taken in the most water.
