UPDATE – Thank you to those who were able to call in to today’s power shutdown discussion.  Considering the input received during this call, CDFD and FMCS have decided to postpone the power shutdown until Winter Break.  An update email will be sent when a date and time have been chosen for the shutdown.

SUBJECT: Power Shutdown Meeting 8/14 1PM – Affecting Multiple Locations

In order to support the Hall of Arts / Posner construction project, a power shutdown will need to occur that will affect the following locations:

–          CFA

–          Hall of Arts

–          Hunt Library

–          Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall

–          Posner Hall

–          Posner Center

–          Skibo Gym

–          Donner

–          Scobell House

–          Welch House

–          Henderson House

–          Boss House

–          McGill House

–          Hamerschlag House

–          Margaret Morrison Apartments & Plaza

We are tentatively scheduling that activity to begin on Tuesday, 8/18.  There will be a Zoom meeting tomorrow, 8/14, at 1:00PM to discuss and coordinate the timing.  Information on how to join the Zoom meeting is below.  The intent of the meeting is to solicit input on the potential impacts to critical equipment that would be affected and determine a time that avoids or minimizes the most negative effects.
